You'll master the art of crafting minimalist anchors using the available resources in your environment, which may include trees, substantial boulders, pitons, serendipitous gear placements, unconventional webbing, or even, at times, nothing more than the rock itself. Our course will equip you with the essential knowledge to make sound decisions when faced with the question of how to ensure a secure descent. Your ability to assess your surroundings and execute safe descents will be honed, with a recognition that these methods may vary across diverse scenarios. We'll also share time-tested and reliable strategies to bolster your skill set.
